Make this bright and cheerful crocheted dishcloth to spice up your kitchen space and make drying the dishes more fun! This dishcloth is super quick and should not take more than an hour or two to make tops. And if I seem out of breath in this video, it's because I was 9 months pregnant making the video in my hot attic!
Difficulty Level: Easy
Project Time: 1-2 hours
You only need a few items to get started...a medium-sized yarn (I use Sugar 'n Cream brand...since these are small, I usually need 2 bundles of yarn) and a 5 mm crocheting hook. I prefer to make dishcloths with blends of colors, so if you like the same, choose a colorful yarn.
What to Do:
Single crochet 38 rows.
Border all four sides of the dishcloth with the single crochet stitch, making sure to tie in all yarn tails. I single crochet three times into each corner stitch for a smoother edge.
Lastly, hide any final yarn tails into the dishcloth by weaving into your stitches.
Cut off any excess yarn tails that you can still see, and you are done!!!
Crocheted dishcloths make great housewarming gifts but are also nice to keep for yourself! I love how this one brightens up my kitchen. Thanks so much for reading!
